Bess


Item, a gown of midnight blue silk with a front open skirt (skirt sewn to bodice). Item, bodice is front fastened over a corset and has Black velvet ribbon decorating it with hand embroidery in gold thread. A Cord of twisted black embroidery thread and gold thread edge the neckline and front opening. Item, Shoulder rolls of Blue Silk with ivory habotai silk puffs drawn through Item, a partlet and sleeves of ivory silk encrusted with tiny bohemian glass pearls. Item, a forepart of of ivory silk encrusted with tiny bohemian glass pearls. Item, a linen caul with cream cord in lattice pattern decorated with tiny gold and pearl beads. Item, a Blue Velvet pipkin decorated with a braided band of pearls and gold beads as well as a Peacocks Eye feather and two White feathers. Item, a Neck ruff and a payre of wrist ruffs edged with pearls. Item, a Farthingale, corset and petticoat of calico worn beneath the gown. Item, A Jewelled carcenet about the neck and a brooch worn on the bodice a girdle ending in a silver filigree cross around the waist and gold and pearl earbobs.
