Melissa Heischberg

When I first started costuming, Melissa was one of my biggest heroes, and her revolutionary Sempstress website and fabulous costumes really inspired me to try to follow in her footsteps. I am happy to say that she is now one of my best friends as well, and her work continues to inspire and awe me even more than ever! This charming middle-class doublet and kirtle is one of my new favorites.
