Aine Dedannan

Aine, who is better known as Ysabelot Clarisse in the SCA, has done a really outstanding job with this Flemish working-woman's ensemble! I love the colors she chose for it - it looks so festive, but very real at the same time. The gown is made from linen with silk ribbon lacings, and the kirtle has handsewn eyelets and is spiral laced up the side. Also, she made sure that there was no machine stitching showing in this costume. You can see one more lovely picture of the back view of the dress here, and if you would like to contact Aine, you can email her at violetskye(at)comcast.net.
