Jeannine LaPorte

Since Halloween is just around the corner, I am especially thrilled to be able to showcase this week's feature! Jeannine has made a gorgeous Flemish working woman's dress, but her plague make-up really had me squealing... more with glee than horror, but either way it is perfect for the holidays! Jeannine wrote: "This last weekend my husband and I attended the Renascence Festival here in Michigan. The festival is far too cheerfully gay so we decided to bring a bit of the Black Death to it. A bit macabre, but historically accurate. We were a big hit, with many complements on my husband's suit and my dress." Check out her gallery page to see more pictures of the grim couple and some nice photos of the dress alone. You can also email Jeannine at jeannine(at)gj9tech(dot)com.
