Sarah HempelBelieve it or not, this gorgeous Renaissance gown began its life as a set of curtains from Goodwill! Sarah carefully planned her dress design to accommodate a sparse amount of fabric, and she worked without patterns and sewed most of the outfit by hand. She also made a small change purse and filled it with one-dollar gold coins for her trip to faire. What a cute idea! And although her talent for costuming is quite obvious, it's her "real world" job that blew me away even more. It may not be costuming related, but you really should take a minute to check out her professional website. I am completely in awe!
