Laura Roman

Laura made this charming Elizabethan gown to wear to her local Renaissance faires, and although she used a pattern for a bit of guidance, most of the dress was her own original design. The gown is made of blue satin with a hand-pleated skirt and an upholstery brocade underskirt. The skirt and bodice are embellished with ribbon embroidered with a cross design, and the top and bottom of the bodice are edged with a beaded ribbon.
