Heather Heroldt

I'm just tickled pink to have another fabulous lower-class outfit to showcase this week! Heather's gown is inspired by Flemish working-women's dress, and she has added some wonderful authentic details such as the elaborately draped headdress that you see in many Brueghel paintings. And luckily for us, she even created a nifty step-by-step instructions page so we can learn how to make one as well! How cool is that? Heather has a bunch of other great info on her website, including a journal for this project and a photo gallery showing all of the layers of this costume.
