Martina KaszonyiováMartina is a Czech costumer who has already shared one amazing gown with us in a previous feature. But lately, she has been making some fantastic menswear, such as this gorgeous reproduction of the portrait of Francois I by Jean Clouet. This outfit is made of silk satin, wool, and imitation leather, and the applique work was all done by hand. It took over half a year to complete, and the results are quite impressive! Martina has also created a new webpage for her local reenactment group. I know most of us won't be able to understand the language, but the pictures are still great. Be sure to click on the sidebar link titled "Kostymy" where you'll find lots of great costume stuff. From there, go to the "Galerie" section for more pictures of this outfit and a another handsome Henry III costume which was made as a test version for this final Francois suit.
