Laela Delprat
I'm such a huge fan of obscure regional German styles, and these embroidered Swabian gowns from the
late 15th C. are some of my all-time favorites. The lines of this gown and headdress and so
elegant, and I love Laela's gorgeous needlework on the sleeve. This is the kind of
dress that makes me turn 5 shades of green with envy! You can see more of
this brilliant costumer's early German Renaissance outfits if you browse through the
MedCos website, and you
can also email her directly at lyongirly(at)hotmail(dot)com.
