Kat Brinkley

Kat plays the role of Mistress Katherine Swynford, a lady's maid to the Princess Elizabeth at the Kearney Park Renaissance Faire.  In the real world, Kat is a seamstress for a local costume shop, but this was her first Renaissance-period project. She drafted her own pattern for the gown, and I think she did a brilliant job with the whole outfit. The slightly simplified look, which is more suitable for her roll as a lady-in-waiting, proves that you don't need all of he fancy jewels and trims to create a gorgeous Tudor gown.
