Ekaterina Smolnyakova

Ekaterina is a costumer in Saint-Petersburg, Russia who studies and teaches at a historical dance school called Villanella. This gown was made to wear at various balls and performances with that group. You can see another beautiful full-length picture here and she also sent us a photo of her amazing blackworked partlet. In addition to the embroidery, I was especially impressed by her lovely paned sleeves, which give the dress such a unique look.
